[SOLVED] Dell laptop experiencing frequent shut downs ?

My laptop model is Dell Latitude e5450. Issue started with charging as it was not charging all the time, it will frequently disconnect while charging. So i confirmed the battery is good and charger is also good. Took the battery out and tried to operate the laptop and now it is frequently shutting down due to power off and on. While starting up , i can see a red line above the dell logo and it will disappear. Is this an issue with hardware? I tried to take out hard disk and still it is having the same issue. I don't want to spend much on this laptop so do you think it is a minor issue?

I don't think its a hardware issue the e5450's are known to have issues with the physical charging port it just goes bad over time.

Pretty easy replacment.
