There are no Windows 7 drivers available from Dell for the Latitude D600 so you should not be running Windows 7 on that model.

Put Windows XP back on it, install the XP drivers from Dell, then you will not have any driver problems. The XP drivers are here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/uk/en/ukdhs1/Product/latitude-d600
