Dell M6500 CPU Upgrade

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade the CPU in my laptop. I have a Dell M6500 with an Intel i7 Q 740 1.73 GHz CPU, and would like to know what CPU upgrades are available for this model, and where would be the best (ie. cheapest) place to buy in the UK.

I've had a look around the 'net, but have only managed to completely confuse myself 🙂

Any help would be much appreciated.

you could upgrade to a i7-840QM or even a i7-920XM or i7-940XM. But those later two are about $1000.
