Hello,
I have a Dell S2722QC monitor connected to a MacBook M1 from 2021.
Now I have a problem choosing 60Hz. I wouldn't mind 30Hz too much but the issue is that you can feel it in the mouse. No idea why but I guess it's some kind of sync issue?
What I figured out was that I can choose "High Resolution" for USB-C Prioritization in the monitors menu. The problem no is: The resolution is terrible. It just loks very bad. Funnily enough, if I choose "High Data Speed" the resolution looks way better.
I am quite sure it used to work just fine with "High Data Speed" and 60 Hz. I don't choose a high resolution.
I have a side question: If a monitor is 4k and you set it to 1920 x 1080 and you watch a movie on Netflix and set it to 4k - does it display in 1920 x 1080 then?
In any case, I'm fine having 1920 x 1080 - Just give me 60 Hz! 😀
Any input how to solve this is high appreciated!
Edit: Oh and I use the USB-C cable that came with the monitor.
