[SOLVED] Dell optiplex 3010 mt

Ok so im seeing everywhere that the i5 3450 is the max cpu the 3010 mt support, how ever I have a i5 3470 so I was wondering if I could put an i7 3770 that i have sitting around gathering dust into the 3010 or not?

The chipset itself should support the 3770. The problem is that the proprietary motherboard might not allow certain chips to run on it.
I'd update the bios and give it a try.
