Hey every one I was wondering if The psu pin connector on a dell optiplex 3010 mt motherboard was a normal 24 pin connector or a 8 pin?

What 8 pin are you referring to?

Dell Optiplex 3010 is standard ATX 24 pin connection from PSU to MB.

I was told by a lot of people that it had a proprietary 8 pin connector and I was stupid enough to go any purchase a converter but maybe they were referring to a nother prebuilt who knows well any way you answered my question.

All 3010 should be virtually the same.
