Dell Optiplex 745 MT CPU upgrade!

I have a dell optiplex 745 mini-tower and want to upgrade my CPU (^)

Right now i have a Intel Pentium Dual core CPU E2160 1.80 GHz
im going to have
RAM-4 gb (different MHz)
GPU-Pny GTX 650 2gb
PSU-Rosewill stallion 500w 12+v
OS-Windows 7 HP 32-bit

Q6700

CPU cooler upgrade might be required. Since Dell uses proprietary cooler, copper version has to be installed.

I thought that the optiplex could only support a core 2 duo but this forum proves me wrong thanks!

With regard to trying the Q6600 @ 2.4ghz or the Q6700 @ 2.66ghz, what would be the best frequency of RAM to pair off with these processors?

Will the 745's buss run at 1066 to allow for a 1:1 ratio with RAM and processor??? That would be too good to be true!!!
