Hey guys,
I know there are lots of questions similar to mine and I've looked through them all but I can't make a whole lot of sense out of them (I'm really bad with computers). Basically I just bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 780, I'm not sure what the name of the model is but it's one of the smaller ones.
It works great in almost every respect- it runs windows 10, I use photoshop and Lightroom quite a lot and they work great.
My issue is when I try to play any game? I'm not a super hardcore gamer but I play the odd thing, and I'm more than okay with running things on their lowest settings but whenever I try to play anything recently made it's slow as hell, the audio runs out the visuals and it's just a mess. I know it has something to do with the graphics card which most likely needs updating. I looked into overclocking it but found out that it's not possible to do that on this particular machine.
Is there anything that I can add in here to help? I've included a picture of the innards, and from looking at other questions something low profile (e.g. GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile 2G GDDR5 64 Bit) looks most plausible, but again I'm not actually sure what I'm looking at.
Thanks in advance
