[SOLVED] Dell optiplex 790

Hey guys i got a dell optiplex 790 MT and i bought a "ASRock H310CM-DVS - Intel H310 motherboard" since im upgrading my cpu and i was thinking can i use the dell optiplex 790 case for that motherboard im planning on just using that case for a month and i wouldnt mind if i cannot use the front panel of the case i would just like to use the power up button is that do-able? Thanks!

You should be fine, thought I think you're going to run into issues with the front panel's connectivity. You might want to bite into a sub 50USD chassis and call the build a done deal.

So far as I am aware the front panel connector on that Optiplex is going to be a small rectangular plug with a variety of the front panel items on it. There are adapters you can purchase for said, and a few of the other things in there that might or not be proprietary.
