Dell Optiplex 9010 DT motherboard component compatibility

Hi, i am building a budget gaming computer for my younger sister, and while i am fairly certain my parts are compatible with this motherboard, i would appreciate a double check from the community. the motherboard i want to buy is a Dell Optiplex 9010 DT. The components i want to put in it include: i3 2120, gtx 550 ti (will upgrade to 750 ti or 1050 ti), 8gb ddr3 (2x4gb), and a corsair 500 watt psu. the motherboard looks like it is micro ATX, but i am not too certain as I have never bought a motherboard that came from a "main brand" pc (like dell, hp, etc)

Bare Dell MB swaps are always risky due to proprietary front I/O wiring, and sometimes lacking a rear I/O panel since this is often built into the case. I would suggest getting a whole Dell Optiplex computer. Preferably MT and upgrade that.

i already have all the components except for a motherboard. front panel isnt a concern, i can just wire it my own way if it doesnt work out of the box. also the listing comes with an i/o panel

It sounds like you're up for this. Some people expect the Leggo experience because it's ATX and they're used to that with aftermarket parts. Interchangeability isn't good even between Dells. But it can usually be done.
