Dell s2716dg doesn't work with only DP that came with the monitor.

I just bought the Dell s2716dg and I'm having a connectivity problem with the display port cable that came with the monitor. The cable works fine if I plug it into any other 144hz capable monitor that I have, but not the s2716dg. Any ideas friends?

p.s. HDMI does in fact work on the s2716dg, but it is only capable of 60hz, which defeats the purpose of my purchase.

you need turn off "monitor deep sleep" function in monitor menu (or also disable other power safe modes), then replace DP back and it will work

That is one of the things that I tried last night, but it was not the problem.

For some reason, doing what smo100 say AND flipping the dp heads worked. Not one or the either, but both in my case. Much appreciated for your help!
