I am looking for the better choice of a 2K- monitor.
My GPU is a Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1070Ti
This four monitors either have G-sync or are G-SYNC Compatible as far as I know.

In the comparison I am interested in response time and visual screen quality. And if there is anything noticable about the models to consider in this comparison.
I know all of this monitors are TN-panels and therefor bad angle view, which doesnt really bother me. But the contrast might especially if there is a better choice between those four.

Atm I can find the monitors for following prices:
Dell S2716DG 457,53$
Acer XB271HUA 579,58$
AOC AG271QX 496,12¤
Asus MG278Q 457,53$

As you will be using the monitor for gaming I higly recommend sticking to 1080p monitor instead of 1440p specially with a GPU like GTX1070Ti. It wont be able to push fps that high and the high refresh rate monitor will be wasted. To be honest GTX1070Ti is unable to push that high even at 1080p for majority of titles specially for intense titles .

Below listed monitor supports G-Sync:

Thanks for your answer.

I have been considering about 2k 144hz vs 1080p 240hz too, but most reviewers just make it sound like a stupid choice to pick the 1080p. Ofc it is worth considering further, especially if you have some good inputs to consider :)

About my usage I am mostly playing games like Overwatch, Assassins Creed and Witcher3. Dont know if they are in the high-requirement end of games. And even so wouldnt it be worth just lowering the graphics?

And about my overall computer usage. I think I can split it like:
1/3 gaming, 1/3 movies & series, 1/3 for work (non-graphical).

Overwatch is the only game which GTX1070Ti can push above 100fps at 1080p without lowering the settings.

What good is a monitor if you are unable to hit high fps at max settings at-least for first few weeks. The above benchmarks are of 1080p at 1440p it will hardly maintain 60fps+ in AC and near to 60fps mark in Witcher3.

Go for 1440p monitor only if you plan on upgrading the GPU in near future. Otherwise if you already have 1080p monitor stick with it. If you don't have one go for the one I listed above.

If you have plans to upgrade the GPU in few months or max a year and a half then definitely recommend going with 1440p. Otherwise 1080p is the way to go.

Thanks for your input. Have had my considerations once again and some research.

One video I find very interesting is this 240hz 1080p vs 144hz 2K vs 60hz 4K.
The difference between 1080p and 2K is significant. As long as it is in reach to run by your hardware.

And that question was my next step. A friend of mine gave me one hint I find very logical and took up for a test.
- FPS games like Overwatch require high fps, but the graphical aspect aint that important. I have tried it out on my 1080p with lowest setting and find it totally acceptable. My GPU is able to make +300fps. I think it should be able to make atleast 144fps on 2k.

- Single-player games you want good graphic, but the high fps aint that important. Ofc as far as it aint unacceptable low fps, like atleast 60fps.

Again I am thankful for you input and that you made me get that cleared out.
But my conclusion is still to go for the 2K with atleast 144hz, but I am still unclear of which one.
