I am going to buy a 24" monitor very soon(within the next week) and i had a good look at this one.
I have a couple of questions though :
1. is hdmi backwards compatible? If i bought a 2.0, would it be compatible with say(i dont know what my laptop is) 1.3?
2. It does not come with HDMI cable, right? I need to order one?
3. Will there be a difference between using displayport and HDMI?
4. I heard there was driver problems with laptops, true or false? I have a gtx 670m
This will be my primary monitor, where i use my laptops monitor as a secondary one. From this, you could say "you do not sit ergonomically then", but i have a keyboard and mouse seperate, so i do not see a problem there.

Bumping is not allowed. Please refrain from doing so again. Thanks.

1. Yes
2. Not likely. You should plan on purchasing a cable.
3. In your case, there will be no real difference between HDMI and DisplayPort. If your laptop only supports HDMI, then the point is moot anyway.
4. False

What specific monitor are you considering?
