Why HDMI 2.0 over Display Port ? Most of the GPUs have DP, only few of them have HDMI 2.0 ... and DP supports even higher resolutions ... why are we still sticking to HDMI ?

It most probably have also DP in it. The HDMI 2.0 was mentioned because it is something that not all monitors have at this moment...

It also has DP and mDP. I think they are just highlighting that it ALSO has HDMI 2.0.

They would be more likely to replace it with a newer model instead of repairing it tho. This is what happened to a friend of a friend.
