I had to reinstall XP system and found afterwards that the
original Dell XP desktop background image was not on the CD 's that
came with my new Dell computer.

Could anyone tell me where I would find this image to download.
or perhaps someone could upload it to one of the News Groups and post
here a message where I could find it.

I like that image as a desktop backgound.

Have a look at Bay Wolf's great web site:

Thanks for the above site, but it looks like they haven't yet got the
wallpaper I lost.

The Dell wallpaper I'm looking for came with my new Dell Dimension
8300, with XP operating system.

I really liked the graphic design, and I hope it's available
somewhere.

It's kinda funny. Not ha-ha funny, just amusing funny.

While I've seen hundreds of posts, asking how to get rid of the Dell image,
here's someone who actually likes it. And *wants* it!

Ask Tom S. He probably has a collection of Dell wallpapers, logos, etc.
which he takes to bed with him.

The image is a large Dell towards the left side of the screen,
and an XP on the right. Is made up of light to medium color
of blue/grey, pattern looks like it was chiselled out of stone.
Actually quite nice.
