I’m building a custom gaming computer for a customer who wants a dell xps 625 motherboard phenom and 4gb ddr2 crucial ballistix ddr2 ram and two Radeon 38xx on crossfire (lord only knows why) I have everything at my shop except the mobo which is 26 bucks on Newegg but my issue is will the front panel header for the power and reset buttons work with a non dell xps chassis ie a regular atx gaming chassis. I’m thinking of putting it in and Batman chassis my friend might pickup for me when I get the money to buy it

Check the service manual. It mentions "Front I/O" and "Interface" boards, so I suppose generic case wont work. But you can look on the 'Net for used or even broken whole system. Also, depending on the model, it might not have two PCI-express boards, nor that Crossfire is supported by the motherboard.

Why your friends insist on ten-year old (at least) computer?
