Dell XPS 8300 will not boot, blinking amber light and 4 beeps.

As stated in the title my Dell XPS 8300 won't boot up. The power button flashes orange/amber, and beeps four times on a loop. I can hear the hard drive and fans spinning up. Wherever I search this problem I find a different answer of either it's a problem with power supply or motherboard.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

4 beeps = RAM problem.

Try re-seating the RAM, if still no good buy new RAM.

RAM problem yes (thank you). Fixed by moving the RAM to different slots. Just re-seating it didn't help. Also, to help find bad RAM you could use just 2 sticks (assuming you have 4), to see which ones are bad. Also, no RAM gave 2 beeps.
