Dell XPS 8700 GPU Upgrade Size Concerns

I'm looking to upgrade the gpu in my XPS 8700 from a GT 720 to either a GTX 750 Ti or a GTX 960. The immediate issue I see when looking at GPUs is the space constraints in the XPS. I'm wondering if I'd be able to fit a full size card like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487028, or if even a smaller card like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487133 would fit.

I'll answer this myself after doing a bit of research for anyone who finds this looking for the same answer. Yes, a full size GPU will fit in the XPS 8700, but it's a tight fit. I had some concerns over the placement of the RAM and the hard drives, but after seeing some other people do it and taking some measurements, it'll fit, albeit tightly. The only problem I saw anyone run into was the length of the psu cords, but that can be solved with an adapter easily and cheaply. I'll update this again after I purchase the actual card and try the installation for myself.

the xps 8700 is made for enthusiast and therefore also made for full size card, it is not sli capable however as it is to short for it. i would only get a standard nvidia layout, as anything else is off spec and my not fit eg that gigabyte g1 would prolly not fit..

I upgraded to a smaller form factor GTX 960 and it fits just fine. A larger card looks like it would fit, but you would be blocking access to the hard drive bays.
