direct cable from pc to tv or with passthrough on denon?
A direct cable pc to tv will not allow Atmos the computer don’t see it or surround sound. If I force it I still won’t get 5.1 of 7.1 in windows maybe playing a game but not watching Plex or Netflix. I want the correct sound from the receiver.

you should use hdmi input 4,5 or 6 and then in denon settings change signal format to 8K enhanced

Look at what your PC says its outputting, what the TV shows on its display isn't really relevant. If you have 2 eyes you can see the difference between 60hz and 120hz. TVs often display the wrong input info.

Hello!
That’s what I’m using input (game 8k) with 8k enhances
Since you're using an OLED panel with a 4K 120Hz native resolution why would you use any 8K enhancement settings? There is absolutely nothing to gain using 8K enhancements on the computer or the receiver other than messing everything up. If you set everything to 4K 120Hz then everything should work correctly. There simply is no 8K!

It may sound crazy, but the only way Denon will display 120hz is through 8k enhanced. in settings Standard is 30hz, enhanced is 60hz, 8k enhanced is 120hz. It may say 8k but it also displays 4k/8k. But I found the culprit. I bought a hdmi coupler that supposedly 8k 60hz 4k 120hz. I decided to try a 8k 60hz 4k 120hz hdmi extender. Soon as I sent into Refresh rate tried 120hz. BOOM no problem.

Oled showing 120hz Its weird the oled show VRR as off. But when you play a game, it turns on.
Radeon showing VRR

If you just read the manual on your receiver you can clearly see you need to turn on 8K Enhanced for 4K 120hz video signals. And Denon has always used the "8K" moniker to denote 40gpbs HDMI 2.1 and "4K" moniker to represent 24gbps HDMI 2.1 ports in their marketing materials, so I don't get why you find this "crazy."

I guess you didn’t read my previous post.
That statement was for the previous comment the guy ask why I’m using a 8k if I don’t have 8K and I was explaining to him. I have it set on 8K enhanced always did but the problem was the Cupler I was using. It shows 120 Hz but I could not connect to it until I replace the coupler and the cable with a HDMI extension. Cable basically cut it out the middleman.
