Suddenly Data Execution Prevention closing Generic Host Process for Win32
Services upon boot up. After dismissing the dialog box, an appox. 45 second
delay occurs with seemingly no activity, then the laptop will proceed with
boot and will perform correctly. After all is up and well, task manager
shows Generic Host Process as running. I ran several spyware and antivirus
programs to make sure I'm clean. How can I tell what is causing this
closure? If I can figure out that it's a safe program, then I can allow an
exception for that specific program.

Check the Event Viewer logs. Either the system or application log
should show a warning or error related to the problem.
