A colleague texted me last night and asked, "could you recommend a computer for my daughter?" 
After a few questions sent back, I learned the child asked for a desktop computer for Christmas, that would allow her to play Genshin Impact without issues. (I had to Google Genshin Impact. ) After a brief look around online, I told her that it wasn't likely that she would be able to get one by Christmas day. I also mentioned that I don't buy pre-built systems, but instead build my own. (Which I haven't done in a couple of years.) The next question ..."Could you build one? She's old enough to be fine with waiting if she knows that is her gift."
The recommended specs from the Genshin Website:
Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 equivalent or higher
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB and higher
DirectX version: 11
Storage: Please reserve 30 GB of space
If anyone is willing to "throw" together a reasonable parts list for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Approximate Purchase Date: as soon as available
Budget Range: She only needs a pc that meets the specs, her mom choked when I sent links for built gaming pcs that were over $1000
System Usage: Genshin Impact, Minecraft, Youtubing, Email
Preferred stores: Newegg, Amazon, possibly B&H
No need to include mouse, keyboard, monitor - I'll let her mother take care of those selections (HDMI or DP for a monitor 1920 x 1080 is what her mother is familiar with)
Yes, Window 10 will need to be purchased
Location: USA
Overclocking/SLI/Crossfire - No
Case: Keep it simple; nothing flashy or decked out with lights.
