ok so im having this weird problem with windows 10 and i don't know how to fix it, i've tried formatting my drives and reinstalling altogether but that didn't help. so basically my desktop and desktop folder arent syncing up.
for expmple i just took a screenshot of my desktop

the snipping tool photo saved it to the desktop folder but its no where to be found on my desktop.
pressing refresh won't help.
i did a sfc scannow and it said it has corrupted files that it cant fix
i dont know what to do about this any help would be appreciated because im pulling my hair out everytime i try to save a file.

Solution
1) You should never be using the desktop for storage, it's bad computer use practice. Save files in the proper places (my documents, etc)
2) Go to the c:/users folder and navigate up to to your desktop, and check to see if that folder and the other one are actually the same. You might have accidentally swapped the profile desktop with the public one.
