i went and uninstalled some programs and i must have uninstalled something i needed becasue now i cant open facebook, banking items that i installed to my desktop ?? Why

Any idea of what you last uninstalled? Facebook should be avaliable via Internet Explorer at least should be able to use that regardless even if you delete the shortcut from the desktop there is still another one under your start menu under programs.
