Desktop items are messed up

Hey guys, here you can see 2 screenshots i took from my pc.

The first one ( https://ibb.co/fui3jF ) is what my backround looks like.

The second one (https://ibb.co/ehztjF ) is what my backround looks like sometimes when i turn on the pc.

Does anyone have any idea why?

Hi, I don't know why it's happening but it's likely a change in screen resolution that causes the icon mess. Games often change your screen resolution.

Here is a "work around" if you want to try it.

This program will let you save your desktop icon positions and then restore them at any time. http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Freeware/DesktopOK

Hi sry for the late reply. I am currently using a 21:9 4k monitor that some games i play dont support the 21:9 so maybe you have a point here but i had the same issue with my old monitor (a standard 16:9 4k ). I will check out that link tho thanks
