Which brand makes the best quality desktop PC? most durable

Please do not advise me to DIY, build it by myself.

I did that two years ago for the first time, countless problems happening, I will not DIY a PC , never again

I would pick asus if I had too, but I would DIY a pc, because its incredibly easy. There might be some better brands out there, I don't know since I never buy pre-build pcs because they are a waste of money.

I built (DIY) a PC for the first time three years ago, I thought it was easy too. I even bought the expensive chassis from Fractal Design made in Sweden. The PSU I am using is Antec. Everything was bought from authorized local merchant..

What I got in the last three years??

1. Frequent sudden bluescreen
2. Sometimes it gives out STRONG unpleasant or burning smell coming out from the PC, but I NEVER know exactly where it is actually coming from, but pretty sure it's from the PC

Today , for the first time, it gives out VERY STRONG smell that I cannot endure anything. I think it's very unhealthy. The PC is still running, still getting on the internet.

However, I do not even know where the problem is.

Leneo, dell, HP, Acer often use custom made motherboards, sometime with non-standard ATX connectors and other issue like inability to deliver 75W to the PCIE slot, ergo inability to run a GPU with no power connector. Asus use their standars, shelf MBs so no such issues.

Something went wrong in your PC hardware-wise.
But, if it worked for 3 years, it's not your fault and that means you are perfectly able to build a PC.
Do not be under teh illusion that a pre-built will cause less issue. It's actually teh other way around since they usually run on cheap components(mainly PSU) and are more prone to issues than something you build yourself with carefully chosen components.
That being said, if your computer still give satisfactory perfromance, why don;t you take it to a repair shop?

Take it to a repair shop?
I bought all the components in less than apprxo. USD 500

Here in Hong Kong the first check fee could be 50 but this is only the start of the story.

I have experience , they would take away your valuable components and replace it
with low-value copies. Or they will intentionally install virus or make damage to your components to ask for high repair fee or new purchase of components.

You will end up spending more time and trouble than buying a new PC, at least here, in Hong Kong.

I do not trust any shops here run by individuals....

Yeah, I never go to any shops. I have had my Diy pc put together for 4 years. My I7 3820 is still running stong. Same with my 290 (now 390 I got awhile back) Take good care and buy quality parts and you most likely won't have any issues.

That's just sad 🙁
Well, let's diagnose your PC. Run it with the case open, see if all the fans are working and try to see where the smell is coming from.
And please state your full confiog, PSU included.

I agree, why not look at what makes your pc have issues.

You can use Hwinfo32 to make a partslist of the pc,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
click next, after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons.
for the psu maker/model/wattage.

Look at the psu first, smell the back of it and see if the smell comes from there.Check connectors too, like the 24pin and the 8pin connectors on the motherboard..
