when i turn on my pc, i hear a buzzing noise, then the pc runs well but the keyboard is not responding. it's clean (no dust). all parts are correctly connected but i dont know what is the problem.
also i replaced the battery but that didnt helped, and tried to run disconecting RAMs, hdd, gpu one by one, still beeps.
thanks

Solution
the speaker is there to let you hear beeps form the mainboard and in some circumstances on old pcs it works as a speaker for the soundcard

the keyboard sounds like it is still good but the mainboard is not, could be a dying capacitor on them ainboard or any other component in there

the old psu can also be a problem but still sounds like a dying mainboard

consider the new pc i mentioned

is a usb keyboard or ps2 keyboard

about the noise, have you determined form where it comes, power supply, a fan doing noise

a constant buzzz, something like a electric part doing noises?

tnx for your response bro,
it's 10 years old pc
ps2 keyboard
gpu: Sapphire vapor 5570 5gb ddr3
cpu: Amd Ath.. 3500+ 2.7 ghz
ram: 2gb ddr2
motherboard : N Force 4M
hdd: maxtor 160 gb
psu phoenix..
It worked very well with this config about 2 years, and as i said before, i replaced the battery recently, pc is cleaned and the noise is coming straight somewhere near to the battery and lasts about 4-5 seconds :)

it is the mainboard, it is starting to die i think

i am not there to confirm but all points to that as i mentioned by my guess about the ps2 keyboard

you cna find a new motherboard for that athlon or just consider buying a new pc, all depends on how much you like/need the pc and the budget you have

Bro, thanks again but i found the problem.
So, next to the battery, there was a small wired transistor (speakers), removed it and i didnt hear that creepy noise. Now everything works fine except the keyboard.

the noise is over, good, try to get a usb keyboard, if the mouse is still ps2, try to get a usb mouse

remember to get into bios and set usb legacy support because it could end not allowing you to use keyboard and mouse, some old mainboards did that

if any other noise starts to happen or the pc suddenly restarts or shuts down by itself, well, i keep my starting to die theory

But i am not quite sure that removing speaker is the solution. It is used to signal errors. .............
Really don't know what to do, it's expensive for my budget to get a new motherboard.. :/
And the keyboard works while i enter in the BIOS then it stops.
