Desktop PC sometimes will not turn on immediately after pressing the power button., it usually takes a few seconds or even minutes to turn on ?

I built this desktop PC around a year ago, and this problem only started like a week since this post.

Sometimes when I press the power button on the desktop, the PC will either not turn on at all, turn on after a few seconds or minutes, or turn on immediately. I still haven't figured out the reason for this. But recently I tried changing the power cable and the PC turned on immediately, so I figured it must have been the power cable. No, because it happened again the next day.

Now what I've tried when the PC doesn't turn on right away is unplugging the power cable, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, and it turns on right away.

I'm worried my power supply is dying, should I send it back?

EDIT: I should point out that the PC works perfectly after turning on.

So I've tried to "jumpstart" it and I think it's not a power button issue. Also tried some other things, like turning it off through the power button, putting it in sleep mode and waking it up through the power button and it works fine.

Also tried restarting through windows taskbar and it restarts fine.

Also put it on another outlet in my house and seems like the issue persists.

Coming back to this thread to say I've finally found the issue. The BIOS Flashback is triggering on its own. I've noticed the green light on the BIOS flashback blinking when replicating the problem. When the BIOS flashback light is off, the PC turns on with no problems.

The button doesn't seem to be stuck, would be nice to disable it somehow.
