Desktop Shortcut Icons problem..

the original icon is being covered by generic icon you know the white with something on it that blank icon.. when I make it larger the original icon is there but the generic is at the bottom left corner oh and the icon is not corrupted or broken I think cuz I can access it.

is this how you put a picture well that is currently the problem It's not really a big issue but It's annoying.

This happened after what? Looks like something was either installed or uninstalled to cause this. Did you play around with themes or icon packs or anything? A virus that got removed?
