The Corsair CX430 and the EVGA 500W 80+ are lower-quality PSU's. Don't get them if you are looking for high-quality ones. I would suggest any of the following PSUs (whichever is available and cheapest in your location):
Seasonic G-450 450W 80+ Gold: https://seasonic.com/product/g-450/
Seasonic S12G-450 450W 80+ Gold: https://seasonic.com/product/s12g-450/
XFX TS 430W 80+ Bronze:

Seasonic S12II-430 430W 80+ Bronze: https://seasonic.com/product/s12ii-430/
Seasonic G-360 360W 80+ Gold: https://seasonic.com/product/g-360/
Seasonic S12II-350 350W 80+ Bronze: https://seasonic.com/product/s12ii-350/
Note that your Dad's office build only draws minimal wattage AS OF THIS DATE. The PSU required wattage would very much depend on the GPU you will install IN THE FUTURE. In the above recommended PSU's:
430W - 450W PSU - You can get a GTX 1060 or an RX 470
350W - 360W PSU - You can get a GTX 1050 or a GTX 1050Ti or an RX 460
If you want a more powerful GPU (such as the GTX 1070 or RX 480), you might have to bump the PSU wattage up to around 500W for more headroom (although some have used 450W PSU as just enough as long as their PSU is high quality).
