Hi all,

I'm looking for a Pre-built PC for gaming in the 2k USD range. I'm targeting at least a RTX 4070 ti super 16gb card. I'm not really looking to wait another 3+ months for the 5000 series to release with delays and such.

Any thoughts on whether the Legion Tower 5i Gen 8 is a good deal? Would I be able to upgrade it in the future to a better CPU/GPU?

Any other suggestions for Pre-built pc configs (with links plz?)

The RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti are releasing in February, not in three months, and system integraters already have listings for PCs with 5000 series parts. It would be in your best interest to wait several more weeks. As expected with prebuilt systems, Legion put cruddy memory and storage in the PC you linked. The Player: Two Prime from NZXT is more expensive, but comes with much faster memory and a better CPU cooler.

If you want something from Intel for better multi-core performance, this CyberPower Z790 is a good choice, as it comes with a much better CPU, a better CPU cooler, and faster memory like the Player Two Prime.

I will also link to a list of parts so you can see exactly how much Legion is charging you compared to how much it would cost to assemble yourself. This system has better storage, cooling, and memory, although it appears Legion isn't charging a lot for assembly with the current discount.

FWIW it's an 850W 80+ Gold PSU according to the specs) in the Lenovo, but everything else in your list is probably better (maybe not the PNY card). It's definitely a B660 board.

$100 upcharge for an OE prebuit with a warranty isn't bad imo.
