Hello, I read alot of your blogs trying to figure this out, and could not find the answer anywhere. with alot of searching, and a little luck I stumbled across the answer, I hope this works for you!
Download and install the driver for Intel Management Engine Interface
Intel Management Engine Interface is missing a driver.
Intel Management Engine Interface is a chipset in your computer. A driver for this chipset is available, but the driver must be installed in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to download the driver and install it in compatibility mode:
Download the driver installation file
Tap or click to download the driver from the Intel Corporation websiteTap or click to download the driver from the Intel Corporation website
Tap or click Save or Save as, and then save the file to your desktop. If you can’t choose where to save the file, you’ll need to find it and copy it to your desktop. When you download files, most web browsers save them to the Downloads folder on your computer.
Extract the installation files
Press and hold or right-click the folder you saved to your desktop, tap or click Extract All, and then follow the instructions to extract the files in the folder.
After you have extracted the files in the folder, double-tap or double-click the folder to view its contents.
Note
If the folder contains a readme file, release notes, or installation instructions, we recommend you read that information before starting the installation.
Install the driver in compatibility mode
To start the installation, press and hold or right-click the install file, and then tap or click Troubleshoot compatibility.
Note
The install file will be identified as either an Application or a Windows Installer Package file in the Type column to the right of the file name.
Tap or click Try recommended settings.
Notes
You might see a Security Warning message asking whether you want to run the software. In the Security Warning dialog box, tap or click Run to continue with the installation.
You might see a User Account Control message asking whether you want to allow the program to make changes to your computer. In the User Account Control dialog box, tap or click Yes to continue with the installation.
Follow the steps in the installation wizard to install the driver.
When the installation is complete, tap or click Yes, save these settings for this program and then tap or click Close.
What if I experience a problem?
If you experience a problem with the driver installation file, you can try the following steps:
Tap or click No, try again using different settings, choose a version of Windows from the list, tap or click Next, and then tap or click Next again.
