News Diabatix and Asus hit new overclocking records with LN2-optimized heatsink – Intel Core Ultra 9 285K hits 7.448 GHz

Why using latest Intel, clearly latest AMD better.
Lol. AMD cannot in any way be better at setting a record for the U9-285K. Only the U9-285K can set the OC record for that CPU.

This isn't about best benchmark results; it's about seeing how fast one can push a particular model. Only after that are benchmark results considered for calculation.

Didn’t Raptor Lake go over 9GHz on LN2 and Zen4 got right at 8GHz

Yeah kinda weird that you had to explain that an AMD part can’t set an Intel record…. Then again Arrow Lake can’t set an Intel record either on TSMC. Nothing they can do will make a chip fabbed at TSMC hit the LN2 numbers RPL hit.

Looks like upgrades to cuDIMMs are going to be coming for at least another year, so perhaps these new Arrow Lake boards will have some extra life.

The 16 wide PCIE5 also looks like it is begging for GPU updates. If AI benchmarks become meaningful to consumers, the PCIE5 GPUs should do well.
