Diablo 3, decent game. Unfortunately it appears the re-playability has become naught. I was hoping to feel like I was playing an updated Diablo 2. Instead I get something that requires an internet connection to play (not happening in a deployed location). That has an easily predictable storyline, and moves so D@mn slow! Not to mention Act II (which has no real bearing on the storyline). I can handle dated graphics, and repetetive gameplay. If there is a decent story to it (see Planescape Torment). But it looks like D3 for me is going the way of Starcraft II (play through once, and drop it).

[citation][nom]buddhabelly34[/nom]Say what you will about D3. I will refrain from posting my opinion (it's mixed). But Covetous Shen should win the award for best video game character for the year![/citation]

He gets my vote. They should add a side quest for good ol' Shen.

[citation][nom]Stefanakisgr[/nom]Was lucky and sold my copy of D3 10 days after launch . I expected a gear grind , but I also expected atmosphere , a good story , and a final difficulty level that didnt involve so much running I mean a wizard can run , it comes natural , whats a poor melee monk supposed to do ? watch?v=PEyk63UaBI4[/citation]

Inferno too difficult for you? lol. They did say that you will die in Inferno.

I guess if you think about it, we should have seen this patch coming, they want to shift people to using the cash generating RMAH. You do that by ramping the difficulty/time required to progress without it. I expect them to also start increasing difficulty and drop quality so that gear that was great at release becomes underpowered and needs replacing to continue working. Basically following the MMO model for gear while taking a chunk of the profits along the way. Sadly it makes the game unreplayable for folks like me who have no interest in the ah... but it'll probably make them a bundle.
