Diablo II won't burn

I tried burning Diablo II, but with out success. There seems to be something missing, but haven't figured it out yet.
Is there a special copy protection on these cd's? If so is there a work-around?

did you burn the erros that apper on the disk. if you dont the the game won't run

the ererros are software scratches tha let the game know that it is the true cd

Diablo II, I believe, has copy protection like the above post mentions. You might be able to get around it with Blindread/write, but I'm not sure.

I made a backup of my D2 without any problems, using Cdrwin. It seems like only disk 2 has the copy protection.

I can burn a back up and install from the back up however the system wont recognize the required play disc. You need a unique serial for each Diablo CD sold so it doesnt matter anyhow. Not worth the effort to crack it.

Get yerself a copy of CloneCD and the companion for it Clony ( I think thats the name I'm on my work comp so can't look) the second piece sends the info to the first to work around the copy protection.

What cd writer software do you use?I suggest than you can use the WinOn CD ,NERO 5 or Clone CD software.This software can solve the CD protection function.

as for diablo 2

clonecd busted the copy protection on my version, so it should work for everyones. ALTHO MY COPY IS A LEGIT BACKUP, I pay before I play.
