Diabltek 400watt PSU Hp Compaq DC5800 SFF 4 RED LIGHTS & BEEPS.

GREETINGS

So, I ordered a Diablotek 400watt PSU from Amazon.com for an extremely low price.
It took a while to come because Lasership was the Primary deliverer lol
LONG STORY SHORT
It came, but when i connected everything & tried firing her up. She gave me 4 loud beeps & Red flashing lights.

Now, i looked it up and those 4 beeps & 4 flashing lights simultaneously, meaning the power supply is malfunction or not connected properly or w.e

The instructions say to disconnect everything one by one until you find out the problem. I think my boys at Toms Hardware can save this day in this episode of Dragon Ball Z

I do have a HP Compaq DC5800 SFF, so the PSU doesn't fit. But that isn't the issue here. My issue it not even turning on? Any ideas ? Has anyone else had this problem ?

Diablotek PSUs are of very poor quality and even make poor paper-weights. I would suggest you get a better PSU altogether. Are you installing this PSU into a standard PC or into your Compaq DC5800 SFF?

What is your PSU budget?

The issue is the DiabloTek and the OEM may not be wired the same. The OEM is not an ATX PSU, but it also has a 24 pin connector. At a minimum the OP has to check that all wires have the same color; any difference has to be addressed.
