Diagnosing keyboard problem

Lenovo IdeaPad 500 15isk

I am attempting to diagnose the problem with my keyboard several keys on the bottom two rows to not work including the space slash and arrow keys
as well as the b& n

It is not particularly expensive to buy a new keyboard and seems relatively simple to install it from videos I've seen, as such I do not want to spend £100 to have someone else fix it when I can do it myself for 20 however I also don't know what sort of problem is is whether this just with the keyboard or with the connection etc

is there anyway I can diagnose the problem to understand whether it is just the keyboard or whether it is something else?

I do not recall spilling anything on the keyboard however I have dropped the computer from a low height twice, first the right arrow key stop working then successively over the period of about a week these are the keys also failed

Did you re-seat the connections already? If you did, then it's time to try a different keyboard.
