[SOLVED] Diagnosing poor benchmark results.

Hello,

Was checking out how my PC compares to others in terms of benchmarks and seems it's not in great shape.

What sticks out to me is the CPU and RAM appear to be performing well below expectations, not really sure why.

Any suggestions as to something I might try to change to fix this, or did I just get poor components?

Start by enabling XMP (DOCP in AMD world) to increase the clock speed of your RAM.

I've got Corsair Professional Gold 750W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply.

It's almost 10 years old at this point.

Why would having many disks and them getting full have an impact on my performance?

Doh, I'll look into that.. might have forgot that. How much of an impact might that have?

It's better. Is this at a reasonable level now? Seems okay to me but now I'm second guessing that I missed something else silly like the xmp setting.

This run still shows your RAM running at default speed. No XMP applied.

I did set the XMP setting but after rechecking, it was not taking. Looked into it and saw others online had issues with my mobo which was fixed on bios update.

Now with updated bios looking much better:
