Did I apply my ICC profile correctly to my ASUS VG248QE?

I put the correct OSD settings, then downloaded ICC profile and applied it. For a second screen showed darker colors then it went back to brighter, i am not sure if i applied it or was it there just a second then it went out of it? Im sure i applied it the way you have to but i just dont see the difference.

I applied it, put the icc profile as default, then when i cross USE WINDOW DISPLAY CONFIGURATION, screen flashes as darker and then goes back brighter. Im not sure if my icc profile applied since it looks the same before i put the icc profile in :S

Use Cinema/Theater/Movie picture preset, and then proceed to using the built in calibration tool in Windows, by just searching for "calibrate" in the search bar. Monitors don't display the same colors or contrast, even if they're the same make & model. They're off by 5-10% mostly.
