So I put in my cpu like regular and noticed when I turned it on I smelled a burning smell and immediately noticed a red light on motherboard on CPU. I removed my cpu and noticed this...

This has never happened to me on an Intel build. First time using a gigabyte motherboard..

Looks like my CPU is okay just need a new motherboard ?

Solution
Bent pins are considered as user error.
One needs to drop the cpu in cleanly.
If you smoosh it around to seat it, you are likely to cause damage to the pins.
It is unlikely that the processor is damaged.
bent pins are not valid as a rma reason.
You can send the motherboard back to Gigabyte for a socket repair.
I did this once and it cost me $50.
If you can, use one of those pointy ends of a apir of tweezers to try to 'nudge' the pins back in place. Be extremely careful not to pull them off or to damage other ones in the process. Then, try to turn it on again. If you smell burning, stop immediately - time for a new motherboard and possibly CPU.
