Ok, this is going to be my first time building a computer. Basically I'm building one to run WoW with better FPS and higher graphics than I am now (mainly mid-low). So here is what I'm thinking of getting, any advice or corrections are very appreciated.

CPU (Processor) – Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard –EVGA 132-YW-E180-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Memory (RAM) – Patriot Viper 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory

What over all budget are you working with?

Do you plan to upgrade the 9600GT video card any time soon? Or get a larger monitor?
22"s are currently nice sized & nice priced LCD monitors.

WoW doesn't make good use of quad core CPUs. Are you looking at playing any other games?
Planning on any overclocking?

Motherboard & RAM mismatch: 790i uses DDR3, but not in 6GB kits. Use 4GB kit instead.

850W PSU in a system that needs only 500W PSU.

Sound card is definitely optional - try using the onboard sound first. If you're not happy with it THEN consider getting a sound card.

Why 2 DVD drives?
