Question Did i spent too much on psu?

Guys i just ordered a Rog strixx 1000w psu along with a 3080ti, but i kinda feel like i didn't need this expensive psu? What do you think?

What are the other specs? At 1000w you dont really have to worry much about the PSU being under powered, but you might be able to save some money depending on what the PC specs are and the goals for your PC.

When are you likely to upgrade the gpu in the future? With next gen gpu’s rumoured to have significant increases in power requirements a 1000w gives you good headroom for the future.

What’s the rest of the system? How much more did the 1000w cost compared to say an equal quality 850w?

I will order a 12th i9 for cpu. I heard that in worst case scenario the i9 will consume 250w for few seconds and the 3080ti consumes around 300w i think? Adding these up makes it 600w at most considering other parts as well, so the remaining 400w is not used
