I decided to update my Dell Latitude 2-in-1 BIOS...Here is what I did:

(1) Downloaded the BIOS update EXE and ran it as admin.

(2) Computer restarted into Dell BIOS/Firmware update.

(3) A bunch of firmware were updated successfully then the updater said that the computer is going to get restarted.

(4) To check the BIOS version number, I repeatedly pressed the F2 key to boot into BIOS to see if the version number has changed, But instead, The BIOS/Firmware updater showed up again and successfully installed the firmware for the keyboard..

Did I mess anything up by pressing the F2 key repeatedly during the update process ?

I don't think so. You should ideally wait for everything to finish unless you're asked to press a key or button. In which case, you're going to either see a laptop that's powered off(down) or you're already at the OS GUI. In the latter's case, you can use CPU-Z to check what BIOS version you're on under the Mainboard tab.
