Hello,
I tried to upgrade my hardware with a new CPU and new RAM.
After installation of the new CPU/RAM the system is not booting anymore.
It's not even starting the BIOS.
Here is my configuration:
Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320M-K
Old CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G
Old RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4-2400GHz - Corsair CMM8GX4M1A2400C14
New CPU: Ryzen 7 5700
New RAM: 2x16GB DDR-4000MHz Patriot Viper PVE24324000COK
After try to start the system I even reverted the CPU/RAM back to the old Configuration. But now it is not even starting the BIOS.

Could it be that the new components busted the motherboard?
I did also a reset of the CMOS. But with no success.
The BIOS has an old version but I can't access it to perhaps make an upgrade as suggested by ASUS.
Any suggestion is much appreciated.
TIA

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Did you update the BIOS before you dropped in your new ram? Realistically, the highest your chipset would've been able to go with the latest BIOS update would've been DDR4-3200MHz, DDR4-3600Mhz if you laxed the timings, perhaps(if it was being finnicky). To add, that motherboard lacks a proper VRM/power delivery area, I wouldn't expect much from a bottom of the barrel style motherboard, by that I meant I wouldn't have dropped in a Ryzen 5000 series processor onto the socket.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Perhaps.

Your board doesn't have a BIOS flash Back button on it, to flash the BIOS to anything beyond what came from the factory or what you were previously on.
