Question Did windows 10 update mess up? Is my pc corrupt from this now?

I went to do something for a bit and when i came back my pc was asleep which isnt unexpected. When i hit spacebar to wake it up it instantly, while on the lockscreen still, said updating dont turn off pc. Once it did its thing i got back to my desktop and i still had the option to update and restart so i did that too.

This seems weird to me and im wondering if something went wrong with my windows or if this is normal behavior. Ive never see it say updating while still on the lock screen nor still have the option to update and restart after an update.

Ive never see this happen before and im worried something went wrong with windows updates and messed something up.

Can you boot into windows at all??

Check you Windows update history. Since its the second Tuesday we had the regular cumulative monthly update plus a .NET Framework update. Sometimes the .NET Framework update is performed separately from the cumulative update so that may account for your computer appearing to update twice.
