is there considerable difference between chipset and original motherboard in terms of performance, stability etc . also which is the original motherboard for i7 2600.

what do you mean by original motherboard?
do you mean how an intel motherboard will work together with an intel cpu?
afaik, intel doesn't make the motherboards themselves. they usually source them out to other companies or odm, e.g. foxconn. intel mostly focus on stability in their motherboards. usually they don't contain as many features as boards from other companies like asus, gigabyte or msi. their boards also focus less on overclocking.
chipsets don't directly influence performance and stability. however different chipset features influence their performance. for instance, h6x chipsets don't allow cpu overclocking but p67 chipsets allow oc. so in terms of cpu oc, the p67 chipset is better.
you can choose from a large array of motherboard brands, not only intel. besides intel's driver support is not the best and they're usually costlier despite being less feature-rich.
