I'm looking to upgrade my CPU from a 7800x3D to a 9800x3D.
I've been using it with a G.Skill Trident Z 2x16 6000 Cl 36 kit since January and it's been great.
I'm seeing people test this new processor with 6000 Cl 30 kits or even lower, Cl 28 timings.
I got a few gift cards for one of the tech sites and I'd be able to get either a 2x24 6000 Cl 30 kit(ADATA XPG) or a 2x32 6000 Cl 36 kit(Kingston Fury Beast).
My question would be, which kit should I be going for?
Would the lower latency prove to be significant enough or would the difference be negligible?
I'd strictly be using it for gaming and before you ask why I'd need more than 32 gigs, is because I've been playing Escape From Tarkov for like 6 years now and it being an unoptimized mess leads to eating up a tona memory.
I do play with other games as well and been trying to look for tests that are strictly performed with 6000 cl30 vs cl36 kits, but couldn't find any.
