Difference between B360 and B360M boards

M would denote that the board is mATX as opposed to the non-M version which is ATX. Then again I could be wrong since you forgot to mention the maker of the boards. Each brand has a way of denoting their products and said nomenclature.

Yes you're right. I see it now on MSI GAMING PLUS motherboards.

M is smaller and have only 2 RAM slots.
