In a few weeks I'm going to buy a gpu for my pc ( i5 4440, 8gb RAM) . I have a budget for a r9 270. my question : it is any difference ( fps, temp, noise) between the 270 and 270x, both overclocked ( without tweaking the voltage) and what manufacture ( msi, gigabye, asus and maybe sapphire, which have only 2 years warranty)?

Solution
Sapphire is my preferred brand for AMD, but ASUS MSI and Gigabyte are all good too.

If you are wanting to OC, get a good brand 270. It can be OCed to 270x levels quite easily. The 270x will OC as well, maybe not as much headroom as the 270. What resolution are you using?
R9 270 (previously the R7870 / Pitcairn)

Stream Processors 1280
Clock Frequency up-to 925 MHz
2.37 TFLOPS compute performance
2 memory at 5.6 Gbps / 256-bit
150W TDP
PCI-E 3.0
API - DirectX 11.2 / OpenGl 4.3 / Mantle

R9 270X (previously the R7870 Ghz / Pitcairn)

Stream Processors 1280
Clock Frequency up-to 1.05 GHz
2.69 TFLOPS compute performance
2 or 4 GB memory at 5.6 Gbps
180W TDP
PCI-E 3.0
API - DirectX 11.2 / OpenGl 4.3 / Mantle

Mostly with that car you be better off picking one on looks there really gonna be almost identical when it comes to using them its a matter of luck on whether yours is faster than another one I would honestly just pick it on looks at this point or maybe noise if that bothers you

WHAT?
