[SOLVED] Difference in Frames

So I am getting way less frames then my friend and I don't get why
My setup
RTX 2080 8G
Ryzen 2700x
16GB RAM

My friend has a
RTX 2080
intel i7-8700
16GB RAM

In sea of Thieves hes getting 210 FPS when im getting 140 when looking at the same thing same graphics setting and almost same ping

What resolution are you playing at? If its 1080P then most likely its the CPU holding you back as the 8700 is a stronger chip then the 2700 for gaming.

Open up task manager and/or MSI Afterburner while you play and see what the CPU and GPU activity is.

Yes its at 1080p and CPU is at around 20% and GPU is 80%
