Different colors AOC monitors (DP & HDMI)

I have 2 AOC G2260VWQ6 monitors connected to my RoG RX470. The 470 only has 1 HDMI and 1 DP port. The colors on the monitors are slightly different, with the exact same settings, the DP port monitor being slightly richer in color. This is very annoying when playing games in Eyefinity across the two monitors. I also am unable to use Freesync on the HDMI monitor because for some reason it needs a DP.

Regarding the colors, should I get a DP adapter for the monitor using HDMI?
Also, Would an adapter allow me to use freesync?

The colors are based on how the monitors are.... made, you can adjust them, google up how to it, it's lengthy and kinda tedious. look for monitor color calibration.
I don't think an adapter will help you use freesync either, as it still has to go over HDMI to become displayport, and apparently only certain monitors support freesync over HDMI.

Try both cable and then see if you can turn on the FreeSync via the Crimson, please reply me if you found it
